Mystery Science’s mission is to make hands on science as easy as possible for K-5 teachers. Through their Mystery Supply Packs, they’re making teaching even easier – by sending pre-gathered, organized supplies directly to the teacher.

I worked closely with Mystery’s internal product design team to aid and create a branded design system for the Supply Packs. Building off from their existing typography and brand purple, we created a color coded system for each of their three teaching categories – physical science, earth & space, and life science. What emerged is a colorful and illustrative system that is playful enough for the students, sophisticated enough for the teachers, and most importantly, easy to use.
